Making Math Interesting

Here is a link to a website with a great article full of ideas on how to make math classes more interesting.  One of the ideas is to use robotics!!  (That doesn't surprise us does it!?)   Part of making math interesting is to make it meaningful.  I often tell my students that the things that they learn in math are like tools for their tool belt.  These tools are quite useful in problem solving -- and there are no shortages of problems waiting to be solved!  So go read that article - and while you are there you might want to check out the rest of the site.
